Calepinus, la librairie latin-grec was created in 1997 by Hubert de Bouville. It was first installed in Paris, 5 rue du Sommerard in the heart of the Latin Quarter. When Hubert de Bouville died, the bookstore was closed in May 2010.
The fund was moved, in June 2010, to the provinces, to the Chèvrerie (16240) between Poitiers and Angoulême to allow the continuation of activity thanks in particular to the website now run alone by Henry Leroy.
Calepinus, la librairie latin-grec is mainly devoted to classical culture and related themes, particularly to Greco-Latin Antiquity and to humanists.
